Hi, y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I’ve been fighting a sinus infection for a few days now, so our weekend was pretty lowkey! I did manage to get completely caught up on my current TV show (anyone else watching Younger!?).
I wanted to share this fun look with you guys, which includes a trend you’re probably seeing everywhere right now. I personally love the white booties trend. I think they offer such a chic nod back to the 60s. I love that this pair has a kitten heel so it’s not overwhelming!
How fun is this velvet blazer too? This was a Christmas gift from my SIL, Ashley, and I absolutely love it. I chose to wear it with some destructed skinny jeans and a white tee for a laid-back look.
It’s hard to stay away from velvet right now. It’s everywhere! I personally love this trend. I have a pair of velvet slides that I wear almost every day. This burgundy velvet dress I found from Target is the perfect addition to my wardrobe!
While I don’t dress up like this often, I love having affordable pieces that look much more expensive than they actually are. I couldn’t believe I found this dress for under $20. It looks like a piece that’d have a much bigger price tag!
I decided to keep this look simple and paired it with the famous Steve Madden Stecy sandals. These were a Christmas gift from my mom! I can already tell they are going to be a regular in the rotation. I love how versatile they are—they can go from winter to spring so easily!
While I do not support wearing actual animal fur, I do think animal print can be a fun addition to any wardrobe. I’ll admit my style is more simple, but I do like adding subtle pops of print. It could come in the form of a scarf, pair of shoes or even this sweater I found at Target recently.
This animal print pullover is part of their new collection, A New Day. I have loved everything I’ve gotten from that collection so far, and this sweater is no exception! I love that it can be worn with black bottoms, like these LOFT jeans, or just normal denim jeans.
But maybe the best part about this sweater is that it’s under $20! If you feel the quality of it, you’d be shocked it’s so affordable. I did find the sleeves to be a bit long (you can see I rolled them), but I am also pretty small, so that’s not uncommon. I’m wearing a small (my normal size in sweaters).
I also wanted to share a few more fun animal print pieces that are perfect for the season. I hope you guys enjoy the post!
