The first thing I told Vanessa (from The Retro Penguin) when we were shooting this look was, “This is so out of my comfort zone.” I don’t often wear skirts and I rarely wear hats that aren’t a baseball cap. But, I decided I liked the way this outfit came together so I just went for it! And I am super happy with how these photos turned out.
The denim skirt trend is one that I really love. On cooler days, it looks adorable with an oversized sweater and boots, but for spring, I really loved it with this white tee. Because the tee was looser, I decided to tie it for a more fitted look.
Since I was wearing a skirt, I wore these nude sandals that would help elongate my legs. And the red bag was the perfect pop of color for a mostly muted look!
