Coffee Date Style

There are few things I love more than a good coffee date. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably noticed I am a huge fan of coffee. And combine that with good conversation and even better friends (or in this case, family!) and I’m one happy girl.

Recently my sister-in-law Ashley (most of you know her as The Teacher Diva) and I visited our favorite Dallas coffee shop Boulangerie by Village Baking Co. (Seriously, this place has the best pastries ever!)

When picking out an outfit for a coffee date, I try to go for both cute and comfortable. This top from LOFT combines two of my favorite spring trends: stripes and ruffles.  The frayed Old Navy jeans (which many of you asked about after seeing this post!) were the best addition to my spring wardrobe. And these lace up block heel shoes are crazy versatile–I seriously wear them all the time.

I love Ashley’s look as well. It’s so feminine, yet casual! The floral skirt pairs perfectly with that basketweave knit sweater.
