One of my favorite things about blogging is sharing exciting new workouts and workout classes. When I was first approached by ZYN22 to come try a class, I didn’t know much about it. I’d seen a few bloggers share pictures on Instagram, but that was pretty much the extent of it.
As soon as I walked into the studio, I was blown away. If there is one thing I love as much as working out, it’s workout apparel. Nothing motivates me to work out more than colorful capris and cute tanks. ZYN22 is not only a workout studio, but their fitness apparel is seriously on point.
I decided to try my first class at the Park Lane location on opening weekend after seeing tons of pictures on Instagram. Assuming an early Sunday morning class would be pretty empty, I signed up for the 9 am class. Was I wrong. The studio was buzzing with riders leaving the 8 am class and a bunch of us preparing for the 9 am class.
But let’s get to the workout. I’ve taken a lot of spin classes in my day. Ever since college, spinning has been my favorite way to supplement running. It’s a huge cardio challenge and is very low impact, so it gives my knees some rest. ZYN22 is truly unlike any spin class I’ve ever taken. With a focus on rhythm, this class is an absolute blast and goes by so fast.
Unlike other classes I’ve taken, which focus on torque and resistance, ZYN22 is extremely fast-paced with very little down time, so every second is utilized. I truly feel like I haven’t sweat so much in my life! But with fun music and dancing incorporated into the class, it’s seriously a blast. Some light strength training at the end of the class is the perfect way to wrap it up and feel like you truly work until the very end.
I am so pumped to take my next class. If you have any questions about my experience with ZYN22 or want to join me sometime, I’d love to work out with you! The first class is free.
